NOT TOO LATE FOR MOTHER’S DAY

As a black woman, I know the influence my mother has had on my life. I wouldn’t be the person I am today if not for her. If you think about it, who else would do your washing, cook you meals, pick you up every time you fall, be a constant shoulder to cry on and still fuss and worry about you long after you’ve grown up and left home?

In recent years our wonderful mums have laughed, cried and shared their hard earned wisdom with us. From humorous accounts of everyday family life to parenting tips and tricks, mothers have created and maintained communities and brought people together.

Currently, young women are turning to be incredible mothers and it melts my heart. Thank you for that.

I delivered some gifts this Mother’s Day. The expressions I saw  on the mothers is a constant reminder that I’m on the right track.

HAPPY BELATED MOTHERS DAY!
