Rwanda ‘land of a thousand hills’, is making the headlines – and this time, it’s for all the right reasons. With the devastating genocide behind rwanda is ranked as the top Africa destination to travel to in 2020 and fourth among the top 30 globally by a ranking, Travel Lemming which recognizes trending destinations. It’s tourism scene is most famous for the opportunity to come face-to-face with the world’s most enrapturing creature on one of its spectacular mountain gorilla treks which cost an arm and a leg. But worry not, Rwanda’s story is about more than just gorillas: National Park, Volcanoes National Park not forgetting it’s history and culture. And with the World Economic Forum recently naming it the safest country in Africa. This means Rwanda is and will continue being a big deal for a while so we better get used to it.
